Launching the new tailoring service

Since our inception, I have consistently worked hard to provide quality clothing that not only looks screen accurate but is also comfortable to wear and can withstand the most demanding events we participate in. We pride ourselves on being true craftsmen, avoiding mass production in factories. Being a true craftsman means that everything we create is handmade. We have developed our own sizing patterns to ensure that most troopers can find clothing that fits them well.

I have always believed that the finest costumes require tailoring to ensure every part fits properly. A prime example of this is the imperial officer costume. In early 2024, we updated our website so that customers purchasing officers costumes, would provide four basic measurements with quite a bit of positive feedback.

Last September, I began testing a blue label service, allowing some troopers to fill out a complete sizing sheet. This enabled us to produce a fully tailored version of the costume they wanted to buy. The experiment was quite successful and garnered positive feedback from those who used it.

I have decided to extend this service to all our costumes. You now have an option to request fully customized and tailored gear upon check out. Some outfits, most specifically the officers, will now be made exclusively under the new label to ensure the best possible fit.

In order for us to give you the best possible costume, please provide us with as much detail as possible by filling out the sizing form, preferably using a computer, to avoid any mistakes in reading numbers.

Measurements must be taken against the skin, not over other pieces of clothing (aside from underwear, of course.) We will add the necessary space to allow proper wear and movement. For best results, ask someone to take the measurements for you; when measuring the chest, take a deep breath.

Footwear measurements must be taken while sitting down with feet flat and legs at a 90-degree angle. The calf measurement is at the widest point.

We welcome pictures of you front, side and back in order to have an overall visual cue. Expect 60 working days from payment to complete the order.

We work on a metric system and need these in CM for reference 1″ = 2.54 cm.
